Pittman Seafoods NV was established by Mr. and Mrs. Vandepitte, together with 2 financial partners.

1994
Pittman Seafoods NV establishes itself in Zeebrugge and rents a new business facility. Beginning of our own production and packaging department.

1995
Purchase of an industrial cutting line for industrial frozen fish filet blocks: Pittman Seafoods NV specializes in the production of industrial portions (1.5 gram to 150 gram).

1998
Beginning of the building of our own frozen food warehouse with a capacity of 1500 pallet spaces.

2000
The entire business facility is purchased by Pittman Seafoods NV.

2002
The sales office Ammann Service in Sales represents Pittman Seafoods NV in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

2004
Mr. and Mrs. Vandepitte become 100% owner. Daughter Yoke Vandepitte starts to work for the company.

2005
A new industrial cutting line is purchased and the production and packaging now takes place in-house.
Pittman Seafoods NV receives IFS Higher Level- certification. This label guarantees the compliance of the company in regard to food safety.

2008
The upgrading of the office buildings and the implementation of a new computer system.

2009
Pittman Seafoods NV acquires MSC- and Bio certification as well.
Dieter Sanders, spouse of Yoke Vandepitte, joins the team.

2010
For the 5th time in a row, Pittman Seafoods NV obtains IFS Higher Level Certification.
Pittman Seafoods NV invests in solar panels to provide for part of its energy provision. A semi-automatic packaging line is introduced as well.
